Big update - 94 ballots and counting!

We've just had a big update to the projection numbers. Not enough yet to call it a done deal - but we're now up to 94 ballots. (Lots of responses to personal emails to Trophy voters.)

So far, Tim Tebow is beating Darren McFadden 54-26 in first-place votes, but McFadden is keeping pace by winning 31-23 among second-place votes.

Here's the regional breakdown for the top seven. Tebow is leading in every region except the Midwest. (Please note: These are points - not votes. 3 pts for a #1 vote, etc.)

You have a vote wrong... I just watched "Tailgate overtime" on SunSports and two of their analysts showed their ballots on TV.

Whit Watson
1 Tim Tebow
2 Kevin Smith
3 Colt Brennan

Mike Bianchi
1 Tim Tebow
2 Kevin Smith
3 Darren McFadden

I posted this here because I could not get through to your other link.

What surprises me is how big of a favorite Tim Tebow is to win the heisman. Even though the early projectios has him winning I would not say its a runaway. The odds at the off-shore sportsbooks would indicate Tebow's name is already on the trophy.

Looks like the former winners know a Heisman winner when they see one.
