With three losses, can Tebow win the Trophy?
Usually, the H------ Trophy goes to a player on a team that's contending for the national title. But in this wacky Year of the Upset, that's been hard to find.
The Florida Times-Union, a Jacksonville newspaper, digs into the facts. Turns out a three-loss player has won three times in the last 25 years.
Three Heisman recipients in the last 25 years - Texas running back Ricky Williams, Notre Dame wide receiver Tim Brown and Auburn running back Bo Jackson - played on teams that had three losses at the time of the voting.
Maybe this is Tebow's year. But what happens if Florida loses a fourth game? Is he out?

Tebow has come on strong since he was all but out of it after the Georgia loss. His stats are impressive. Everybody is talking about him as the frontrunner. If he has a big game vs Fla St. Tebow will be extremely tough to beat.

NO COLLEGE PLAYER IN THE MODERN ERA HAS BEEN SO DOMINATING. NOT AT ANY POSITION, NOR ANY SCHOOL. YES, HE IS A SOPHMORE, AND I HOPE AND PRAY HE WILL STAY AT FLORIDA UNTIL HE GRADUATES, BUT I AM BIASED (GATOR ALUM). IF ANY VOTER DOES NOT CAST THEIR BALLOT WITH TEBOW #1,I WOULD LOVE TO ASK THEN WHO THEY WOULD PICK IN THEIR FANTASY FOOTBALL TEAM?

Florida (Tebow) escaped by 6 points over 'Ol Miss (The Cellar team of the SEC this year, which would have made them a 4-time loser.
Plus, with the many very negative comments made by Florida (Tebow) fans about other teams, their Heisman candidates and their fans, made on many of the Message Boards, I couldn't imagine voting for Tebow or his team.
